Pio Vinbar - at ease
Whether you are a connoisseur or just love to enjoy wine, this trending wine bar is the place for everyone who shares a passion for wine – and not the least to see IndustrialCPH lamps and accessories in real settings.
The name Pio is a homage to the famous and recently closed Pio Vinhandel which started at Østerbro in 1881. Pio VinBar was fortunate to acquire the old patinated wine racks from Pio Vinhandel, which now makes up a weighty part of the décor in the bar.
Pio VinBar has entered into a collaboration with IndustrialCPH to display our lamps. Most lamps at Pio Vinbar are for sale, just ask Anders in the bar for contact information.
Tamu – Vitskøl Kloster Café and boarding school facilites
IndustrialCPH entered into a collaboration with the architect company Bertelsen & Scheving Architects to deliver lighting designs for the new build farm-shop/café and boarding school buildings, constructed as an addition to the listed Vitskøl monastery. The new buildings follow the style of original Danish farm houses and barns having red painted wood and red tiles.
Finding the right lamps to blend seamlessly into the style of these buildings, and at the same time providing the correct atmosphere, led us to the aesthetic of former east-block countries. Lamps from East Germany, Poland and Sovjet Union in old demolished industry complexes revealed a number of good candidates. To provide some edge and give it the special touch of IndustrialCPH, we also mixed in some old and rare maritime lamps from Argentina and Korea.
All lamps chosen for this project are vintage and between 40 to 70 years old.
